Are you bugged by the headers and footers that print out on your greeting cards and artwork? This will show you how to remove them from your printed projects. |

If the picture prints with text on the top and bottom of the page, it is because your browser is set to print headers and footers. These can be changed or turned off. First go to the File command on the tool bar.
Next select Page Setup from the drop down menu.
This is where you can enter information to print at the top (header) and bottom (footer) of each page. If you put your name in the header box it will print at the top of each page you print. Deleting any text found in these boxes will turn off the printing of headers and footers. That way it will not print "Page 1 of 1" or whatever it now prints.
This dialog box is also where you set your margins. Set them as wide as possible for printing coloring and greeting card pages. The default header is "&w&bPage &p of &P" and the default footer is "&u&b&d" (without the quotes) if you ever need to replace them. Here are the codes you can use and what they mean: &w Window title &u Page address (URL) &d Date in short format &D Date in long format &t Time in the format specified in the Control Panel &T Time in 24-hour format &p Current page number &P Total number of pages && A single ampersand (&) &b The text immediately following these characters as centered. &b&b The text following the second "&b" as right-justified. |
